Awards & Honors
Howieson Cup
The Cup shall be awarded by the band each year at the Burns' Supper to a member of the Kansas City St. Andrew Society,
who is not a member of band, who, in the opinion of the band has done the most for the Society.
The Cup will be awarded no more then once to any individual.

Pipe Major Award
The Pipe Major's Award is given to an individual in the band who has proved to be an invaluable asset and has gone out of his or her way to strengthen our organization. The award is given at the annual Kansas City St. Andrew Society's Burns' Supper. The recipient is chosen by a committee which includes the band's President, Business Manager and Pipe Major*. This award is not given every year.

McKee Memorial Fund

In honor of the McKees the Kansas City St. Andrew Society established a Highland Arts Developmental Assistance Fund in 2003. The purpose of the Fund is to award $500 cash assistance annually to a member of the St. Andrew Highland Dancers and a member of the St. Andrew Pipes & Drums Band. The money is provided to help the recipients in furthering their skills through the attendance of a school, workshop, etc. devoted to enhancement of Highland dancing and Highland piping or drumming.
